GROUP AIR AGENT

Minimum 7 years group air AND leisure travel experience in incentive industry; proficiency in Native SABRE required. Knowledge of TRAMS and ISIS preferred.

Blocks space and negotiates air-pricing contracts on all programs to ensure at or under budget/ tracks deposits and payments to ensure timely deadline fulfillment.

Processes air travel arrangements for passengers based on clients requests while enforcing LOA timeline dates and fee structures/ conducts flight monitoring of all flights on day of departure and return on all programs.

Fulfills all pre and post deviation requests in a timely manner following all deviation procedures.

Ensures all seat assignments are pre-blocked in pairs for all programs. Communication must take place to the Travel Account Manager and/or traveler if seats are not acceptable.

Provides continual communication to the Travel Team throughout the program on booking status, flight schedule changes, seat issues, etc.

Accurately processes and distributes change forms throughout each program for any changes. All items must be thoroughly followed up.

Issues and proofs all airline tickets and mini-itineraries/ reconciles and analyzes air data to prepare summaries and reports for the Travel Account Manager, clients, TD notebooks, etc.

Responsible for daily download processing SABRE data into TRAMS/ performs weekly ARC processing and sends to appropriate parties.

Pprepares accurate final bill following procedures and timelines.

Orders all ticket stock, invoice paper, mini-itins, change forms, ticket jackets, etc./ volunteers assistance to Air Coordinators when needed.

Air Bid Requests - provides accurate pricing and schedules and blocks space, if necessary on scheduled and chartered airlines.

Books Staff Travel to include air, hotel and car/ processes the ARC report on a weekly basis.

Handles Individual Incentive Travel fulfillment/ produces proposals for Individual Incentive Travel.

PROGRAMMER/DEVELOPER

POSITION PURPOSE:  To design, plan, develop, test, and document computer programs, working from detailed source data.  Also may prepare program documentation and materials for end users.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Developers working for Galactic Systems will be expected to develop and maintain web and Microsoft based applications in support of departmental requirements and technology goals.  Developers will work with some direct supervision; however, they should be able to work independently or on a small team when required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:  Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET Framework 3.5, 4.0) and programming languages including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, C#. Should be able to build and deploy applications using Microsoft SQL Server database development and administration.   PHP, MySQL, and Linux experience is a plus.  Should be familiar with Windows server platforms and IIS Administration.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:  Minimum 4 years application development experience.  MCTS or MCPD preferred.

A degree in an IT related field, and 3 years in related development environment.
